Having spent the last ten weeks at Singularity University, I can say that I have learnt a good deal about exponential technology and its ability to drive massive --and hopefully positive-- impact in the world; impact measured by billions of people affected over a sensible multiyear timeline.
This experience has the pervasive effect of changing your mindset. Things that you previously thought were out of your reach now become --at least mentally-- within one's grasp. The message: You truly can achieve great things if you are smart and courageous about how you go about them.
Recalling how Peter Diamandis urged us to, above all other things, reignite an old or find a new true passion to inspire us over the next five to ten years, I think I am now able to formulate my very own: transform knowledge acquisition to help improve our understanding of the world, driving empowerment-oriented action.
I think this statement pretty much covers every project that I have been drawn to as an entrepreneur over these past few years.
This includes one of the best things about my SU experience: the initial development of Iris AI. Having formed a fantastic embryonic team, the big vision for the project was --and still is-- to make scientific research more accessible, initially to innovators and entrepreneurs, and to the general public further down the line.
In June I also mentioned that at i.ngen.io we will be working in the development of a cloud-based presentation software specially designed for storytelling in data-intensive situations. Today we submitted a funding application that I hope will put us in a better position to drive this project forward over the next few months.

Over the next few weeks and months I expect to be working as hard as ever to try to make that modified mindset serve this one passion.
