Last week I was lucky enough to attend a one week course at MIT (Sloan). Thanks to Fundación Rafael del Pino -thank you Vicente and Oihana!-, I was one of 30+ students interacting with some of the world’s most prestigious professors gaining insights on the Frontiers of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, as the week-long workshop was titled.
The classes included Steve Eppinger -on design thinking-, Pierre Azoulay -on incentives for innovation-, Emilio Castilla -on people analytics-, Catherine Tucker -on digital marketing-, Christian Catalini -on equity crowdfunding-, Fiona Murray + Philip Budden -on prizes & accelerators-, Scott Stern -on entrepreneurial strategy-, Bill Aulet -on disciplined entrepreneurship-, Mercedes Delgado -startup panel on innovation clusters- and Don Lessard -on innovating globally-.
Apart from the great connections made, both with professors and fellow course attendants, a few sparks lit fire in terms of where to go next with my current endeavors: Iris AI and Fundación Civio. I will be exploring those over the coming weeks with my respective co-founders and the two teams.
I have some good notes in a GDoc. Please feel free to ping me if you want access.
